Currently, I work for
Raytheon Technologies as
a Senior Technical Support Engineer I, which is a lot of jargon for Mechanical Designer.
I design and document various parts of radar systems. I designed part of the
SPY-6(V)4
Naval Radar System. I also focus on short duration projects that range from updating radar sites (large assemblies) to
documenting various parts of radar support structures. I design and document using Creo/ProEngineer, AutoCAD, and
Windchill/PDM. I worked for Raytheon for seven years from 1999 - 2006, where I led projects from
conception to production, coordinated prototype manufacture and
negotiated vendor quotes.
As a Product Engineer with EndoEvolution, from 2017 - 2019, I led the product development and support of the
Endo360°, a laparoscopic suturing device. I maintained their Solidworks database, led design and documentation
changes, improved manufacturing processes and led their technical communication.
I was also responsible for updating their Graphic Design materials. EndoEvolution was successfully acquired in 2019.
I have a BSME from
Tufts University.
I also took Solidworks design classes from
QCC and
MassBay from 2015
through 2017. This education included design projects with local manufacturing companies. My portfolio here demonstrates
my work at these schools. My talents have greatly progressed since, but
the confidential nature of professional work precludes sharing more current design work. In 2016, I learned CNC manufacturing
skills from
WPI and
MassMEP.
I worked at two leading Massachusetts manufacturing companies following this education.
On a personal note, I earned an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design from
Mt. Wachusett in 2011.
I ran my own freelance company, All for the Lord, where I designed brochures, postcards, ads,
tee shirts, logos, and websites, many times using my own custom photography. I've raised over $35,000
for charity in 20 years. I'm a cartoonist, I produce electronic music and I'm a
believer.
